Lions Clubs Recycle Spectacles and Hearing Aids
Lions Clubs, throughout the World, Recycle Spectacles which are cleaned, refurbished and distributed to Countries where the vast population cannot afford a pair of Spectacles?
Just imagine how something that we might discard, could change the life of someone who cannot see clearly, simply because they cannot afford a pair of Spectacles.
Perhaps it will help them to move around freely, see their family more clearly, be able to do some sort of work, be less dependent on others etc.
How would you cope without your Spectacles?
So, the next time you want to get rid of Spectacles, or Hearing Aids, don't put them in your Bin,
put them in one of ours!.
They are then delivered to Chichester Lions Club who sort them etc. and deliver them to Medico, France who then distribute them around the World.
